I've been matched with my giver (and am SOOO excited!). Now a question for all of you wise MN ladies!
Should I wrap up all the presents before I put them in the boxes (I think I will send them in two boxes - in the past I have sent things to UK in one box and it has got lost somewhere between Thailand and UK).

What have other people done? I love wrapping presents and so would like to do that - but I think it also might be useful for the parents to see what they are getting.

OTOH, it would be more exciting if it was a surprise for everyone on Christmas Day.

what to do? what to do? (wondering emoticon)

Doh
Obviously I mean I've been matched with my receiver, not giver.

I'm not wrapping - so that the parents can see first.
Also - I am sending things for the parents / santa to give the children...if you wrap it seems abit like leaving the parent out of the equation, iyswim.

This issue was discussed on the general thread last week and someone said they would send a list of what is in the parcels along with them, I personally think that it's a good idea, I think that I'd like to know what the kids were getting before they got them. It's really up to you, you're the one kind enough to be giving so do it your way! Only thing is, you wouldn't want anyone to unwrap your presents to see what was in them only to re-wrap them......

Sent mine unwrapped. I think wrapping presents should be the parents privilege.
