Did someone send my DS a Happy Horse - a musical zebra?? It came in the post today with no name or anything with it so I dont know who it's from but I love it!!! Its a really great toy!

andaSOAPBOXinapeartree · 20/12/2006 11:02

Eeeny - it is from me - it was one of the lovely gifts from Great Expecations

It took me so long to parcel everything up - I gave up writing any notes!

So if you get a grey coloured mail bag - chances are it's from me

eenysugarplumfairy · 20/12/2006 11:09

WOW Soapy thank you !! What are the things from Great Expectations?? Thank you so much its a really lovely toy!

StrawberrySnowflakes · 20/12/2006 11:16

soapy, you migt want to check out the link i posted earlier, know its too late for xmas, but there may be people on there who could do with a hand?

andaSOAPBOXinapeartree · 20/12/2006 11:18

Strawberry - some of them have already had help and the thread is about the parents not exchanging presents.

I very much doubt whether anything I've got in my left over's box would keep an adult interested for long

StrawberrySnowflakes · 20/12/2006 11:22

sorry

munz · 20/12/2006 12:38

soapy - think I have mine from you, lots of organix goodies, and a mobile I think for J, theyre absolutly lovely, and how did you know I forgot to get J some snacks at the w/e shop! lol. thank you soo much.

SueQ · 20/12/2006 13:30

Pauline in Scotland - I just don't know what to say! I am absolutely stunned . The other parcel that you sent has just arrived and when I opened it I'm afraid that you had put so many lovely things inside that it defied the laws of physics and kind of exploded. Thank you so very much for such kindness, I am still completely stunned!! We all wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2007

hunkermunker · 20/12/2006 13:41

Oh, WOW! More parcels today! I am overwhelmed - MNer V with DS B you have been SO kind to us, you lovely, lovely lady! Thank you so much for the GORGEOUS flowers - I will take a photo of them and email it to you

And Soapy! What a fantastic surprise! Thank you so much for the lovely toys, the sweets - I've not had a chance to have a proper look as the DSs have been awake but the toy with the letters and the little sketch bit? DS1 will be in HEAVEN with that - he dashed up to the TV today so he could "touch the letters" (the credits on the end of Jane and the Dragon) - let's just say he's very keen on letters and numbers and this is PERFECT for him!

I'm unpleasantly deaf in one ear atm, having had a properly gluey head cold the last week and a bit, so today's deliveries have really cheered me up! Thank you again - this thread and all it's kindnesses is restoring my faith in MN

paulineinscotland · 20/12/2006 13:43

Im glad you liked your gifts SueQ and I hope the children do to

paulineinscotland · 20/12/2006 13:56

SueQ have u opened the children's parcels yet or are u keeping them to the big day ?

suedonim · 20/12/2006 14:07

Has HAE with ds TJ received her gift yet?

SueQ · 20/12/2006 19:08

Pauline in Scotland . We haven't opened the children's gifts yet, we thought we'd wait until Monday. I did tell my dd all about this wonderful christmas spirit that is taking place here on mumsnet and she was totally bemused but very excited that so many mums are thinking of her and sending her presents. It is just so amazing, mums really are the best (there really needs to be a [ftears] don't you think!)

OTickletownofbethlehem · 20/12/2006 20:56

Has M-J with ds CM received a gift yet? From GLTC...

Soapy

My parcel arrived this afternoon. Thank you so much.

My house is now a little more christmassy and my tummy is almost full of american hard gums (my fave!)

The "jingle bells" are just about driving me insane, but its good to see the girls smile and laugh.

(Christmas tree needed a little brown tape work as the base had broke but its all good and has pride of place on the massive shelf in the living room - complete with fairy on top!)

THANK YOU xxxx

Hope the tree wasn't too badly damaged JARM!

I'm very worried that I will be sent the dentists bills once all your DCs have munched their way through a mountain of sweets

deckthehillswithboughsofmummy · 21/12/2006 09:00

My tree needed superglue on the base as well but nevermind it looks lovely and as long as it is packed away properly will be ok for a few years to come.

deckthehillswithboughsofmummy · 21/12/2006 09:01

Soapy - it's a good job the kids get free dental treatment on the NHS so I don't think you have to worry.

Thank you so much for all you and the other mums have done to brighten christmas up for the rest of us.

sockmonkey · 21/12/2006 09:10

Val & Ben - A lovely bunch of flowers has arrived this morning. again I NEVER get flowers, and they are just beautiful!

thank you!!!!!!!!

JARMgotstuckupthechimney · 21/12/2006 09:37

nah, the tree is fine mate. We will superglue it for next year, but havent got any in the house at the moment.

The girls are made up at us having a tree.... they keep pointing to it and saying "santsant" bless them!

ValnBen · 21/12/2006 10:25

Hi Sockmonkey ? so glad they arrived safely. Even better that it?s something you wouldn?t normally have?..Erm, there should have been chocies with them?.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 21/12/2006 10:28
