ScoobyDoo thanks very much for the thankyou Christmas cards
Really nice of you you send them to the children too. They really enjoyed buying the stuff with me, and hope you all have a nice Christmas.

BTW no-one mentioned a Mr Scooby, so I didn't get him anything Hope he doesn't feel too left out!

Rhubarbsdd · 07/12/2006 19:06

Typed on behalf off dd (6) as she says it.

"Thank you for the book money. I would like to buy another Penguin book. Love from Bxxxx"

munz · 07/12/2006 19:14

jarmy! you are more than welcome

Wags · 07/12/2006 19:26

Mummyhill, took parcel to PO on Wed lunchtime. Should take 4-5 days (working days I think). I had asked for the quicker mail which was only £2 more but the woman didn't realise so guess its coming 2nd post. Having waited for 20 mins as only 1 woman on desk, que to the door and a woman next to her counting stamps instead of serving (ffs), I didn't dare aks her to change it. I could feel the breath of the person behind me waiting!! Let me know when it lands!

plumflumppudding · 07/12/2006 19:28

I'm on here again to say a HUGE Thank You to G+M from Ireland for the box of goodies that came today for me N and T.The furbies work great and they've not put them down since I put the batteries in.
Both N and T send a big thank you for them alone,I've put their pressies under the tree
G your letter was so lovely, and bought tears to my eyes,I'm incredibly grateful and glad you enjoyed the shopping.
One thing tho..N asked if I had your address as she(as would we all) would love to send you a thank you card and picture,so if your willing cat me or leave a message on here and we'll sort something out.
A huge Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you and M and you'll be in our thoughts.xxxxxx

colditz · 07/12/2006 19:30

A note for the people who gave me such happiness (and, dare I say, relief?) this year - you all know who you are-

I order5ed my joint for Christmas day today. Without worrying about how to pay for it, or whether to just get a chicken instead. Thank you for that. Thank you for that relief.

scootersanta · 07/12/2006 19:35

Nemoinapeartree · 08/12/2006 09:39

OMG what can I say about my child sized box.....firstly love the pictures on the box and inside...all the clothes are fantastic thank you soooooooooooooooo much. Ds saw the mr men book so has swiped it already but then we have been reading them at bedtime so thats ok..he is also currently wearing the hat that is slightly too big for him but he loves it apparently as it covers his ears and keeps them warm!!! The animal toys will go into stockings as will the little dolly for DD. Thank you soo soo much to L and G and all their little girls it really does mean a great deal to us.

satine · 08/12/2006 10:14

Lollymum, the last box was from me - I'm afraid that I didn't know whether your children are boys or girls, and what ages they are, so the clothes might be no good, but I thought it was worth a try! Please pass them on if they aren't right.
Glad it all arrived safely.
