santadoingtheironing, Thankyou for revealing who you are. I am pleased that you got some pleasure because you don't realise how much pleasure you gave to me. I still cannot believe that there are people like you who give to complete strangers and we are not in the third world!!!!

I had another gift today many many thanks to RL Frances for the M&S vouchers, they will come in really handy I think I will spend them on some lovely Christmas food for us all.

When I found out I had been nominated I thought I would receive a small gift for the DDs, I never expected to receive 4 parcels, it really is too much I really feel I don't deserve them.

Thanks again to my givers x

QV - OK, so the not so subtle hint in one of the book titles might have given me away

MerryChristmasfromQV · 05/12/2006 17:23

I did have a little chuckle when I saw them both. Especially since the other one is about Monkeys......

OneofQVsSantas · 05/12/2006 17:27

Must dash, Aethelred is moaning that he is hungry.

Quick Reminder

Can all the recievers please email me at [email protected]

I am organising a scrapbook of christmas as a thank you to soapbox for arranging all this for us.

The scrapbook arrived today along with some gorgeous festive papers and embellishments (that another generous mumsnetter has paid for)

(I will of course keep you all completely confidential if that is your wish)

Thanks guys xxx

colditz · 05/12/2006 18:03

Ok, I've just about stopped blubbering, and can say thank you properly.

3 parcels arrived today, to my flabberghastment.

To K, with T(3.10) and A(13 months), who sent us the cookie kit, Tomy eggs, colouring christmas cards, felt tips, The Gruffalo, and I am too absolutely little for school, and the choccies with the blue spotty paper

thank you, for your beautiful and well chosen gifts to us

To Attilathehun - you outed yourself so I thought I would trumpet to the world what a kind and generous person you are! Thank you for the star stickers, the teddy, the Noddy bag, the baby toys, the build-you-own-digger, the wrapped something for me (which has been taken off me and Put Away)and the boat, which are all such lovely ideas

To Totally Anon, who sent an Open Immediately card, which contained a very kind voucher which will be so useful. I can't find any clue to who you are,
but than you for the voucher, the TTT lotto set, the shark top trups card, dinosaur roar, harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs, and the smartest giant in town. If I knew who you were I would out you too.

You have all been so kind, while I was opening the packages I had to go and sit on the toilet and have a little blub. thank you.

PS you have ruined my hard girl image too

notreallyhereDee · 05/12/2006 19:28

no message yet hula, shouldi be expecting one?

hulababy · 05/12/2006 19:39

Argh - darn! Forgot to change my name for this!!! Oh well, too late now.

It was just a change to the message on the backside of the envelope, stuck on front of box - regards the donation. We were unable to go with our first idea - harder than it seemed to arrange. So DH and I, as part of our Christmas gift to you and your DH, have placed a donaion with the British Heart Foundation and another with Transplant Sport UK. I hope these are releavnt/suitable charities. I have also now recieved the leaflers from the Organ Donor site and issued them at work, to help raise further awareness.

Paddlechick666 · 05/12/2006 19:41

koshka

glad the box arrived safe and you like the contents.

wish it could've been more.

the sending has really really cheered me up and made me feel good.

i finally got to speak to DH last night and thru all his issues and problems he was lifted and astounded by this amazing thing soapy started.

he said to tell everyone "thanks for bringing the true spirit of christmas to life"

he sent special thanks to my givers too MrsBojangles, ArtyJoe and Janerae.

notreallyhereDee · 05/12/2006 19:42
