It's not a cheap bargain but I know a few people were after Magnatiles. Playmags are a cheaper, award-winning alternative and a set of 100 with a car is down to £75.99 on Amazon, which Camel Camel tells me is the cheapest it's ever been.

IAmAPaleontologist · 29/08/2015 21:27

I did SideOrder, yes. Dd adores it. This year she has her heart set on "The big one with the white T-Rex" That'll be the £100 set then. Not a chance darling Grin.

Chrys yes it is, we love that CD :)

Well thanks to you lot I have officially started my shopping. dd's birthday (Dec 23rd) is sorted. I've ordered her the fossil hunter Lottie doll which I was going to buy but I've got it from Amazon along with a couple of the reduced/add on item playmobil dino bits.

I need to have a good think about Christmas. Ds1 will be getting a camera for his birthday (early Jan) so I'll be having a good look for one of those little waterproof, droppable super tough cameras. I've seen them for around £60 at the moment but I reckon that'll be one for the post Christmas sales which will probably have me in a state of panic as I usually make sure I have sorted his birthday along with the Christmas shopping! Christmas will involve books and board games as usual (I think Ticket to Ride and the Child version of Carcassonne) but I've not got beyond that. I know I had a great idea for dh a while ago but I can't for the life of me remember what it was Confused.

Oh fab, thanks very much. We're going through town on Monday so we'll pop in The Works for one then for her Smile

The Orchard Toys Xmas Surprises game is excellent for any children between 2 & 3 for teaching colours & shapes in a fun way.

giggly · 29/08/2015 22:38

Claire's have all Beanie Boos on offer 2 for £12. That includes the medium sized ones which are normally £14 each. I had bought one for a birthday present last week, took it back today and they gave me 2 and 2 quid back.
Win win.

I can third the Morphibian recommendation. my ds is fascinated by the fact he can make it move downstairs when he is upstairs. Cue me shouting 'yes!' alot to him shouting 'is it moving?'

25% off everything at Dorothy Perkins. The mobile website is awful to use mind you.

I have a Charles Tyrwhitt (Finest British Shirtmakers) £10 off voucher up for grabs that I got with an Amazon delivery. Expiry date is 30th November. Let me know if you want it as it's no use to me.

Ha! Just read that back - should really proof read BEFORE posting

Scarydinosaurs · 30/08/2015 09:55

I've started stock piling my Christmas bits now. I wanted a Christmas 'minimal mess' activity for my two year old on Christmas morning and found these for £2. No paints, but can colour in with crayons whilst I get dinner ready and various aunts and uncles can entertain her. Thought it was worth sharing!
