My 8 and 9 year old dds would love the Art Attack and Guinness Book of Records annuals, RTKM.

RTKangaMummy · 23/11/2006 17:54

Thanks the prob with art attack is that the mum isn't into crafty stuff

Cos otherwise would get that one

Art Attack, Blue Peter, Dr Who (if they're into that). Probably past Barbie stage, and the other 'girly' ones are too young really.

Miaou · 23/11/2006 17:57

At 8 or 9 they could probably do most of the stuff themselves without much help from mum. My dds do most of their "making" without any interference from me!

RTKangaMummy · 23/11/2006 17:58

The prob with the guinness one is that it is £10 and the others are all £5

And so would mean spending more on her than her brother and sister's annuals iyswim

And as the bro is our godson we tend to spend more on him by buying him an annual as well as a toy

Dd (9) said Dr who, Art Attack or Scooby doo.

RTKangaMummy · 23/11/2006 18:05

Oke doke

Will go with your ideas and take it by chance and see which one I see first when we go to shops on weekend

So Art Attack, Blue Peter, Dr Who and Scooby doo are the top choices

You guys are soooooooooooooo deffo brill

Thanks

Art Attack or Bratz. The only options my DD2 (8) would consider!

RTKangaMummy · 23/11/2006 18:10

Please enlighten me

What are BRATZ ???

OP posts:
MarsLady · 23/11/2006 18:11

Bratz are those dolls with impossibly large eyes and heads.

Hang on will look for a link

MarsLady · 23/11/2006 18:12

Bratz!

Blandmum · 23/11/2006 18:13

anything to do with crafts

Or Dr who

or tracy beaker

RTKangaMummy · 23/11/2006 18:22

Blimey don't know now

Perhaps Art Attack is best bet as all of your DDs seem to have chosen that one

The prob is they have moved 300 miles away so we only see them about once a year they used to live next door

You guys are sooooooooooo deffo brill

bratz are vile - sorry. My 9 yr old dd hates them but would love an Art Attack book. There are other lovely books out too, if you could get to a proper book shop, or Amazon - The new Clarice Bean would be top of my list and Amazon have it for £5.99 I think.

MarsLady · 23/11/2006 21:17

Bratz are vile indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tortington · 23/11/2006 21:21

am thinking £5 voucher?
