i'm having a new baby in march.. my dd will be 4 in january.. i want to get her a really good doll (for around £50 to £80 maybe?) that she can look after as it's meant to be a good idea! any suggestions? i want one that can 'do' things like cry and wee as she'll like that! but not too complicated or we won't be able to work it...
please help!

really don't think yo have to spend that much money on a doll
try baby annabel or baby born, theya re about #30 plus or minus a few quid

misdee · 19/11/2006 19:05

ELC do a nice doll atm millie/mollie (not sure which) and you get a free accessory pack. its about £30 i think. dd3 tried to nab one today lol

Lol!!!!!!!!!! I was waiting to see what a Doll was like for £80!!!

Thought it might have done the ironing also!!!!

agree that a Baby Annabelle would be fine. Woolworths have them reduced at the mo for £22.99. You can pay as much as £35 for them

rainbowgirl · 19/11/2006 19:24

i'd like a doll that does the ironing... hmm maybe i should modify my search to include robots?

ooo dont encourgae dd3. she is a bit lightfingered to say the least and we have to frisk her and check the buggy when we leave shops

Get down to Woolworths (or shop online) Both Baby Born (to £26) and Baby Annabel (to £22) are reduced. A lot of their accessories are reduced also.

Bozza · 19/11/2006 21:18

I would tend to get a Baby Annabel or equivalent and then a few accessories also. Does your DD not have much in the way of dolls already?

all4girlz · 19/11/2006 21:51

we got the dolls from elc with the accessories last year and they were a big hit

Peridot30 · 19/11/2006 22:53

ELC baby millie looks good and you get accessory pack worth £25 free. PIL bought dd baby annabel for christmas. Cant wait to see her face as looks at doll everytime we go to toy shop. And got it for £22.50 at woolworths!

poppyh · 20/11/2006 08:07

Im actually thinking of getting the one on Tchibo at the mo.
It is similar to the others, it cries, but no soiling of nappy, thank goodness!
It is £17.99 and looks like good value!

rainbowgirl · 20/11/2006 17:07

where do i find that one poppy?
