What about Hama beads, should be suitable for all of them. Can get them in Ikea for 4.99 for big tubs, then the shape things for about £1. Also noticed Argos has a variety of sets of them. I know my dd(12) still loves them(got her the Ikea ones yesterday) and my neice of 8 loves them too. Keeps them going for ages.

If they are sisters, it might be nice to do them a sharing box eg:

• lots of art stuff so they make collages etc

• a couple of dvds with some corn for them to pop their own popcorn

• lots of stuff to bake fairy cakes together
