Things with buttons/to push for 18 month old DS

I'm looking for any idea for things with LOTS of buttons for DS, electronic and not electronic.

In particular he's obsesed with balls and pressing buttons. There is a thing I've seen at local HV centre that is red, a bit bigger than A4 and does the alphabet, numbers and colours. When you press each one a flap reveals what's underneath. There are like 40-50 odd buttons and heaven on earth, no electronic words, music or beeps. Have no idea how to track it down though.

friends 20 month old adores our Vtech tiny touch phone. elctronic- 13 buttons, 3 modes each does 2 things in each mode... with me still? 2 of teh modes are sort of "games" with questions and "answerrs" and music. the 3rd is phone conversation type phrases. Its about 18cm by 6cm by 3, so not very big and very portable. has survived 2 months of being dropped repeatly on a wooden floor and drooled into by my ds.
