Christmas Fancy Dress ideas for 2 year old

I found out today that DDs nursery will be having fancy dress for Christmas. Can anyone give me some ideas how to produce something that is reasonably practical to make and wear for a 2yr old?

Oh dear

Brown Trousers and top - red nose and reindeer antlers

Green & red outfit...holly

All in yellow....a star

All in white with fairy wings...an angel

Bright colour and something that makes a "bang" noise and a hat with points...a cracker

Black & White .... a penguin

tea towel on head if he'll wear it and blanket over head, tied around middle with belt or curtain tie rope things?? = Shepard

Green blanket over head, with different colours sewn on it = tree?

I hoped to have made something for my daughter. Just preferred to if possible. Though I quite quite like the Chrismas pud idea. Will check it out.
