From reading some of the threads below, and stuff in the press this week that we are apparently all going to spend 350-400 quid on Xmas presents each...I'm begining to wonder if we are a bit mean in our house.

DH - usually gets a book, scarf, jumper or similar (impossible to buy for - quote

We have a lot of people to buy for but we dont spend loads, we tend to spend the year looking out for things that we know people will love.

we spend in total probably between £400-£500 but we have;
our 2 dd's about £60
my 4 older ones £160
my parents £60
dh parents £60
my gp's £20
dh gp's £20
my brother, sil + kids £50
Dh 2x sisters, partners and 3 kids £80
my 2 x aunties uncles £10 (wine)
dh auntie and uncle and kids (£20)
I dont think thats to bad, I just dont think you have to spend loads to enjoy it.
