Actually I do buy myself a lot of things and have been known to say to DH at Xmas/my b'day that I don't need a present as I have been buying anyway!

(Of course then I sulk if he really doesn't get me anything!)

we get a present for "santa"....to say thank you for bringing all the other presents..so I sort of get one.
It is usually edible...so we can get rid of it!

I buy my present from dh - does that count? Well infact I buy my whole stocking!

No but I do have Christmas treats - such as a new outfit in the run up and maybe a bottle of baileys.

I have to buy my own from them and they asked in Father christmas will bring me anything (so I buy myself an extra from him!)

No, but once a year we have a blow out night away (OK, blow out by our student income standards LOL) and that's just before Christmas (saturday in fact) so that's my time to spend on me- new dress, jewellery, shoes etc.

i do, i get myself a small something from each of my 4 kids as they all a bit little to buy me something, failing that if you want a surprise give your mum a tenner and ask her to get you something from kids and not tell you what it is

I do the Boots points thing. I try to save them up from June onwards and then after Christmas get myself a pressie with them. I have over £28 so far and I fancy some Benefit stuff .

There is always something I want/need so I like to choose my own
