I want one!!!!! Saw the ad for it last night during X Factor and fell in love lol Had to go to toysrus today so took dd along to find it in the hope that she would fall in love with it and want it from Santa..... Unfortunately I can't see us finding £300 for it

Dd2 asked for it, but Dd2 won't be getting it.

I don't have the money and tbh I am not that keen on it anyway. She has the fur real polar bear and it's crap.

Macdog · 12/11/2006 20:11

I would love to win the Lottery and buy dd a proper wooden rocking horse.
Always wanted one, never got one
Think the 'novelty' of Butterscotch would soon wear off, sadly

they are so expensive, in toys r us or argos (can't remember which one) they had similar ones for £30!

LadyOfTheFlowersIs1Baby1Bump · 12/11/2006 20:16

saw one the other day in toys r us.
ds1, 16m, was scared of it, but kept having to peep round corner at it.

jamieboo · 12/11/2006 20:29

it is very creepy to get it out of the box, it has no head on, and there is a separate box with just a ponys head in it. V creepy! (not that i have one, horrible thing)
i heard that there are many stock problems, toys r us here doesnt think they will get anymore before christmas anyway. Shame!

PanicPants · 12/11/2006 20:42

I thought it was horrible! Ds has got a small rocking one from M&P and it looks ok, but butterscotch looked a bit too real, but not real iykwim!

intergalacticwalrus · 12/11/2006 20:49

It's weird.

I bet you'd lock it in the coal shed before bed, and come down in the morning to find it in the middle of the lounge eyeballing you.

southeastastra · 12/11/2006 20:52

what a horrible thought igw like this staring at you

LieselVonTrapp · 13/11/2006 15:57

Its just the best isnt it, although it would freak DD out as she doesnt like horses.

intergalacticwalrus · 13/11/2006 15:57

It's fecking demonic.

Crimescene · 13/11/2006 16:00

buy your dd a block of riding lessons instead

intergalacticwalrus · 13/11/2006 16:01

It's almost as frightening as that doll that shits and says "I done a stinky"

Puke

MrsSpoon · 13/11/2006 16:03

DS2 saw this ad and was insistent it was a "real horse", I thought it was just plain creepy.

zephyrcat · 13/11/2006 16:04

I hadn't thought about it being freaky until now!!!! I must admit I was a bit scared touching it's mouth in case it suddenly moved or bit me - and that was with no batteries in it!

lisa264 · 14/11/2006 18:29

jamieboo · 22/11/2006 19:46

if anyone was looking for them toysrus have just got them back in stock, our store has about 5.. which apparently is a lot and also a big shock!

Pixel · 22/11/2006 22:04

I saw one in Gamley's a couple of weeks ago. I loved it .

wheresthehamster · 10/12/2006 18:39

I bought one today and I hate myself.
I know the novelty will wear off by Boxing Day.
I know it's a complete waste of money.
I know I've got more money than sense.

My excuses are :-
dd3 asked Father Christmas for it 3 weeks ago
dd2 fell in love with it in ToysRus today
as a joint present it doesn't seem too bad

I am sitting here debating whether to take it back or not.

7swansaswimmingup · 10/12/2006 18:41

dont take it back! sell it on ebay when theyre bored of it

mrsratty · 10/12/2006 18:45

£300 for a horse orniment which falls apart quite easily is ridiculous. It's a very expensive waste of space!

DingDongDraculaOnHigh · 10/12/2006 18:47

what is a butterscotch pony?

FairyTaleOfNewYork · 10/12/2006 18:48

urgh, no way!
