her push along walker and her ride on car. and her cheap dolls buggy and dinky cars.

you could throw the rest in the bin and she wouldn't notice as long as she had those!

what about something a girl aged 9 and a half can actually PLAY with, nothing electrcal please..... Must also be very portable. I am stumped.

Polly pockets, my dd is not that way inclined but her best friend is really into them and my dd is happy to play with them at her house.

The problem is that mine would be the same as a lot of the posts on the "what was a waste of money" thread, dolls house and Playmobil mansion. Both played with endlessly. It's so child-dependent, isn;t it? Mind you, ds is 12 today and is loving lego as much as ever, so it certainly lasts
