Must have a lifting lid, not too flimsy and the closer to £50 the better!

i bought fab second hand one in sturdy wood and metal for 330.

Schools quite often sell off their old stock of these sort of desks. Our school caretaker put them out in the playground with a sign on them, asking for a few quid each, and by the end of the day they were all gone. One lady who has a big cellar bought about 6 so her DDs could play school . Would it be worth phoning around a few schools?
