dd loves animals and horses so she's getting the Barbie horse and stable.

Sparkler1 · 10/11/2006 14:37

my dd has asked for a talking Cyberman head

Some of the more girly Playmobil sets are good. One of ds's friends is getting the Playmobil garden centre shop for Christmas.

Does she already have a dolls' house type of thing? Lots of girls seem to like those. Alot of ds's female friends are into Bratz. Personally, I hate them, but all the little girls seem to like them...

My dd1 is five.
For christmas we're thinking of buying
a pink child-proof digital camera
"girly" Lego
walkie-talkie
a sticker maker (that's what she wants most of all!)

Does she like making things? If so, there are some nice craft type sets around. Or if you want an alternative, how about arranging a special trip out somewhere, with maybe just a small present to unwrap on the day?

Furball · 10/11/2006 14:47

A cheapy digital camera?
A watch?
A pop cd and player?

tamum · 10/11/2006 14:48

Dare I possibly mention Sylvanian Families again? I should be on commission.... They are awfully appealing though, and endless different sets available.

Mercy · 10/11/2006 14:49

my dd is 5.6 and wants a watch for Christmas. I've seen some for £10 and less.

I'm also getting her a children's cross stitch kit from Daisy Designs.

emkana · 10/11/2006 14:50

They're so expensive though aren't they tamum?

(btw we are going to see a geneticist with ds in Dec - really interested if that's going to bring any answers)

tamum · 10/11/2006 14:51

They are emkana, it's true. I'm glad you've got an appointment, I really hope it helps. How's he doing, has his chest cleared a bit yet?

Emkana: We'd like to get DD a childproof digital camera. Where did you find yours?

emkana · 10/11/2006 16:26

Ds still chesty.

Issymum, they have them in ELC, but currently out of stock.

But the same make also available on amazon.

There was a thread recently about it, and on that they had a link to the amazon item, maybe if you do a search? It had digital camera in the title.

Scooter - my DD had one for her 5th birthday and she whizzes to school on it every day.
