Would this pass as an angel costume?

DD (4) goes to dancing and she has a costume which is effectively a tutu all-in-one thingy with leotard. Its white with sparkly silver sequins on it.

If I put some tinsel around the bottom, added wings and a halo, would she pass for an angel?

Can you tell i'm a Christmas concert virgin?!

Sounds good to me.

check the status quo - if the rest are in the other popular type (long, plain white, made from old sheets) she may look slightly incongruous

Hmmm, MrsBadger, could you fill me in on the etiquette of how an angel is usually dressed?

What do I do with the old white sheets?

IME there are two ways angels can go - one is full-on glitter and tutus in which case your dd's dance costume will be fine; the other is of the long-white-nightie type thus (I only mentioned sheets because it's what mine were made of!)

Best to check with whoever's organising the concert...

I seeeee. So possibly her cinderella dress tarted up a bit with tinsel and wings may be a go-er?

(I am trying to get away from having to'make' something if I possibly can )

I can see your DD looking great in either of the 2 you have said about.

My DS1 does not want to do anything this year. We are trying to get him to be something but the teatcher and me are having a very hard job though, he get really moody as soon as we say anything about it to him.

DS2 just cant wait! Hes going to be a sheep A talking 1 at that

She might look more of a cherub than an angel if she wears the tutu
