Parsnips...

roast potatoes, roast parsnips, then I usually do carrots and a cauliflower cheese as well. Plus a green veg as I hate sprouts (I do them but for everyone else).

easy to overdo the number of veg needed imo

there's so much already on the plate that i think you only need 3 veg (in addition to pots) maximum. in fact i think you could manage with only 2 - for me it would be sprouts and parsnips.

yes, perfect plate = turkey, stuffing, sausage, roast pots, sprouts, parsnips.

carrots, cauliflower, peas - whatever you like really. Personally I hate parsnip.

According to mil you must have carrots for colour, mind i tend a little as possible of her veg as she cook it until it collaspes at hint of being touch by a fork.

Roast parsnips and carrots and peas. Do you class potatos as veg or are they a forgone conclusion??

PeachyClair · 08/11/2006 20:59

Dad does carrots, peas, roast parsnips as well as sprouts (he loves them, would be happy with a bowl of just them).

LaDiDaDi · 08/11/2006 22:41

We will be having roast parsnips, carrots, roast and mashed potatoes, swede (not for me), sprouts (again not for me) and broccoli (this time for me ).
