I've been inspired by MN to make a christmas cake. DH making the most of my sudden domesticity (when we got married I had a seven foolproof receipes I could cook and that was it!!!) now informs me he's like a Christmas Pud. His Irish Gran who DD is made after apparently made the best in the world, she dies 2 weeks before DD was so can't ask for the receipe. Anyone got any suggestions. Aparently it had guiness it but am open to suggestions.
