A Tv digi/cable box thingy and a printer for the computer.

I've been buying them all bits and bobs over the weeks so they will have other stuff but it just feel abit mean because it's stuff that we'll all use.

DS1 will ove having a printer and they'll all love the telly thing but it's not exactly christmasy....

I don't think it will boring if they have little presents and stockings too.

you could spend time finding a website now and then you can go to it on Christmas day when all set up and ready to go.

No, think are great ideas, if they will use the printer. Maybe you could get some transfer printing paper so they can design their own t-shirts, or some of that wet release paper - you can dip it in water and slide image onto a plate or mug or whatever - would thye appreciate this as other ways of using the printer.

Think digibox great idea - will be useful to you and entertaining for them when DC No 4 arrives. Think we are going to buy DD new duvet and light for her room, totally unexciting!

The special paper is a good idea for a filler pressie for my dd1 where can you buy it?

PandaG · 05/11/2006 08:30

I've seen the water slide paper on Create and Craft, transfer paper i think too. I've bought transferpaper from Viking - an office suppliers. I bought mine form a catalogue but think you can shop online too. Think some of the bigger stationers would sell this kind of thing too.

feel really strongly that kids nowadays have too much stuff and don't value it, so if you have things that they will enjoy and the family will get use out of, then i think that's fab. Christmas is about being together with loved ones and not about buying stuff.
