DD2 (2.4) has been no problem to buy for and I have nearly finished Christmas shopping for her. However DD1 (5.3) is proving to be a nightmare. I keep asking what she wants from Father Christmas but she is really not "into" anything. Please help. I was thinking of a dolls house maybe but wondered if anyone could suggest any ideas. Thanks.

Does she like any tv characters. Lazytown, Dora, Fifi? My DD who is 5 3/4 is into all of these and when she sees the adverts she's saying I want one of those. So we're settling for Dora and Lazytown. She had Fifi last year. lol.

DD2 is easy as she is only 18months so none the wiser! Will probably be happy just tearing paper open!

Thanks so much for your messages - like the idea of a jewellery box as she has loads of tat (sorry, jewellery) and need somewhere to store it.

She's got a cd player so can stock up on some CD's. She has got a baby Annabell so will probably get some more accessories - thanks again.

My ds is 5 in Feb and we've got her a new leappad with books as a main pressie and also a fur real kitten, they come in all different sorts. As well as that there's all the stocking filler things, some puzzles, about 10 really lovely books (some are sets like the 6 set child's greek myths which I think she'll love), a chocolate selection box, chocolate coins and a few orchard toys games which are great for that age.

Thanks for your ideas - she mentioned her little friend plays "unicorns" at school so will have a look out for one - sure I've seen them in Woolies.
