Mini Christmas cakes from a normal recipe?

Is it possible to make lots of mini Christmas cakes from a normal recipe?
I have a recipe I use every year, but we'll actually be visiting lots of people over Christmas, so instead of having one big cake here that lasts until March, maybe I could take small cakes with us, wherever we go...

Does anyone know if this is possible? Should I reduce cooking time/temp?

Saw an idea for this recently somewhere. The plan was to make a normal cake in a square tin 8" if you follow my recipe on the Christmas cake thread. Then you cut into 4 and have 4 smaller ones, you could tie a ribbon round them to make them look pretty.

Ah Ha! Hadn't thought of chopping one up. (mine's always round normally)
