We hide ours at my parents house as we just have no extra cupboard space and then there is no worry of them being discovered by dd1 ,then just before christmas i do several wrapping trips.

no

JoolsToo · 23/10/2006 22:49

what do you mean?

Father Christmas has them

treacletart · 23/10/2006 22:50

Mostly under our bed and at the back of drawers. Last year DS'rocking horse was stabled at my in laws for the winter. But I've been thinking this year about behind the kickboards beneath the kitchen units...

tortUREoisechamber · 23/10/2006 22:51

In the loft this year!
Last year there were in DD1's old cot covered with sheets and sheet tucked under feet to prevent peeking!

Cods little lord fauntelorys only have golf lessons for Christmas and one Noddy DVD between them

PretendFriend · 23/10/2006 23:06

On top of wardrobes...when your house is full of crap, a few more random bags don't stand out (probably the only time being messy is an advantage!)

At work, heh heh. This year, its going to be in a big suitcase, that only I have the key to.

PretendFriend · 23/10/2006 23:32

Ahhh - my kids must be better gymnasts then

btw, cf, have you got 50c and 20c from Ireland? They were on your lists, and I know someone did have them for you but I found some too so I thought I'd check!

In wardrobes or loft.
My folks used to hide my Christmas presents in the long case of the grandfather clock for years, until the pendulum got caught on them one year and stopped the clock. They also hid my birthday present in my own wardrobe when I was about 8 as they knew it was the last place I'd ever look.

eidsvold · 24/10/2006 02:09

top of linen cupboard, top of our wardrobe. Good thing - we have lay by until Christmas Eve - so you can buy stuff usually at big toy sales mid year and they store it until Christmas Eve and you have until then to pay it off. We will slowly start picking things up from mid Dec - have a couple of big things to hide this year.

arfishymeau · 24/10/2006 03:44

In the cellar. I hit Target during the last 2 toy sales and have had it all stashed away. DD's birthday is a week before Christmas so we have double the amount of stuff.

BudaBeast · 24/10/2006 05:44

Most of DS stuff is at my Mum's - bought it whilst in Dublin last as we will be in Dublin for Xmas. Other bits and bobs that I pick up along the way end up in cupboard in basement.

ludaloo · 24/10/2006 07:10

Funny you should ask! I spent a couple of hours last night wrapping pressies and have a storage dilema...I cleared one cupboard out yesterday but the box is too big to get on the shelves...might have to venture up in to the loft.....

elliepmummy · 24/10/2006 17:00

Wrapped alot of ours at the weekend as baby no 2 due 5th jan and panicking in ase of an early appearance. Hidden all of DD on top of built in wardrobes and made a fake curtain whih is hug in front of them (normally has half ton of rubbish up there like photos/hat from wedding/DH football trophies!! Told my PIL and my mum and dad where they are and that all DD is wrapped in disney princess paper in case of xmas eve dash to hospital they can get some of them and do her a stocking at their house, told them to leave the big ones as I want to see her open those!!!
