Dd2 (8 months)- hav'nt got a clue what to get her as she has all dd1's old toys.

Dd1 (2.8)- Can't decide what get her as she likes loads of things, peppa pig, Dora, puzzles, play sets, dolls houses etc...

Dsd (7)- likes Bratz and girly things.

Dss2 (10)- likes cars, not realy sure what else he likes.

Dss1 (13)- Likes football, clothes and play-station 2 etc.. ,not sure what to get him as he likes to think he is grown up.

We like to spend £100 (ish) on each, but the step kids will have half of that as cash to buy what they like so only have to find £50 worth of gifts.

Any sugestions please?

a few ideas:

8 mth old - rewrap some of your dd1's old presents! or get her some little musical instrument things from elc. she doesn't need £100 spending on her - save it for later or spend it on yourself/xmas day

dd1 - there is a good peppa pig playset that we have - looks like a house, opens up so it looks like 4 rooms and has little beds, sofas, plus peppa and family. my ds2 (3) plays with it a lot. otherwise baby annabel stuff is very popular with that age.

dsd (7) - is she into ponies? you could get her some stables and model ponies etc and get her to start collecting. otherwise my dd1 (8) was into furryville and mylittle petshop stuff (both horrible, but hey, they like it!)

dss2 - does he have a nintendo ds? you could buy him a game or two for that. all boys this age love the guinness book of world records - don't know why but they think it is fascinating.

dss1 (13) would he like a new football strip? otherwise cds, playstation games, pretty much any clothes by quiksilver (long sleeved layered look t shirts particularly).

for dss2, how about the national geographic starmap that projects onto the bedroom celing, its in the Argos book, might get him interested??

dd1, 2.8, could you get her a big girl bike? or a trampoline? or a playhouse (joint with dd2?) have also seen a fab Barbie guitar with headset, my nearly 3 year old is raving about it!

dd2, Clothes? maybe a few books, the odd toy, that dd1 hasn't parted with/one to keep of her own! How about something keepsakey you can put away for her? or savings??

Marne · 20/10/2006 20:48

I like the idea of a bike for dd2, she loves the dora bike which she seen in toysrus.
