Brace yourselves and form an orderly queue.

XMas clock.com says 357 (plus 14 hours)

Happy New Year to one and all. Hope 2015 is a good one Smile

No progress to report, just popping in to keep in touch. (Well, I am making progress on writing my lists, and doing my HHP planning - but no actual work done).

OrnamentalAsAnything · 13/07/2015 15:08

Congratulations on the pregnancy, SooC.
Will this one be sci-fi-ily named too?

My two are a bit themed too.

I found the HGP again - the site owner had set up a separate site for it!! I may go back to it as the HHP is slightly different and seems a little less useful for my needs. Although now it's all printed out, I should try it for 1 year I suppose.....

into the one hundred and fifties Xmas Grin

I bought some tiny little craft decoractions from The Range ( no idea why, I don't do crafts but I can glue them onto the Christmas Eve Hamper or bluetac them onto the hall mirror)

That's the thing 70 Everyone can do Christmas crafts! Doing well here, I should be nearly finished. Just trying to get a play mat / rug thing to put the Sylvanian families on as oddly enough, Sylvanians don't do one. about the only bloody thing they don't do

Not a lot more progress here, but slowly trundling along....

AllThatGlistens · 23/07/2015 11:50

Helloooo!

Feeling rather pleased that I've restrained for so long but tis lovely to see familiar Christmas faces here so I'm now justified in piling in Wink

Shopping is well underway, lists are written and food menus are in hand.

Waitrose slots are available from September iirc so will keep an eye on that, and will be spending huge amounts of time and money on Reasties threads as per..

DH just sighs and embraces my madness Grin

TelephoneIgnoringMachine · 23/07/2015 11:54

Joining. Does anyone have any ideas / is there a thread for Christmas crafts for kids? All I can think of is a homemade paperchain kit. DD is 3 so simple, short activities would be good!

I'm watching QVC Christmas in July (which is usually on the 24th/25th but this year it's on the 24th Xmas Confused )

And I'm going to try making a gluten free dairy free Nigella chocolate cake, purely for research purposes y'know Wink

Hello again, sorry I dropped off a bit, been super busy, can't believe that we are down at 152!! Argh!!!

BiddyPop · 24/07/2015 16:06

Telephone, how about potato stamp printing - making Christmas shapes in the potatoes and then using that to wrap family presents or make decorations/cards?

Making an orange pomander with cloves - but do the prep work ahead of time making holes in the orange with a skewer, so cloves pop easily in.

Finger print pictures - look online for ideas but using different colours to make a Christmas tree and baubles, or Santa face, or Reindeer antlers etc.

Or just print out a load of free Christmassy pictures for colouring in - you can get very large simple shaped ones, up to very intricate for older DCs. Websites like About.com (I usually search for Christmas once I'm on) or Activity Village or DLTK are all good websites for printable pictures and other crafty ideas for DCs.

And collect toilet roll inners for all sorts of fun!!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/07/2015 17:53

Snowflakes- cut out and cover in glitter?

Or there's 3D ones that form a 'ball' shape?

Or what about the modern day version of the Blue Peter Advent (made from coathangers and flameproof tinsel) Candle Holder but use battery tealights.
