I was a bit too late for most of the stuff not he thread, but I did get the Womdee scarves and they were great. I wasn't too sure that they would arrive in time. But they came Last Tuesday so I could return the ££ stuff I'd bought as a back up. Really pleased with them. Though not sure what to do with the odd necklace things they sent with them. Not my 68 yo MILs thing!

PolyesterBride · 28/12/2014 16:52

What is the star gazer light up contraption?

chanie44 · 28/12/2014 16:52

Iamblossom · 28/12/2014 16:53

MsAspreyDiamonds · 28/12/2014 17:51

The tassimo I bought for my mum for the bargain price of 35 pounds after someone posted the link on here.

I also bought a couple of play doh flip & frost cookie sets as spare gifts. They came in very useful as last minute gifts.

WUME · 28/12/2014 19:37

Bumpy rings and play doh flip n frost big hit with dd1 and dd2.

Lots of new chapter books a big hit with dd2 so Thanks for all the codes. I bought regularly throughout the year from The Book People so was glad the thread ran from January.

Finger lights, a year behind everyone else, but there was serious envy at the panto yesterday as kids flashed them round spite the overpriced light up toys on offer for £8!

Google glasses built today are a huge hit.

Iamblossom · 29/12/2014 08:53

Zoo book also went down well, was almost as tall as nephew....

Also the twin tiny tears dolls for my niece

and lots of other little bits :D

fairyfuckwings · 29/12/2014 10:03

The frozen dolls from ali express. I think they were about $8 each and they were bigger and better quality than the one's for 20 quid they were selling in sainsburys. My daughter's taken them everywhere with her!

NorbertDentressangle · 29/12/2014 10:06

The Amazon miniature microscopes with LED lights on.
Fascinating (and freaky) what things look like up close!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 29/12/2014 10:08

The scarves - I gave one to Sis, one to MIL and one to a friends teenage dd. All alongside other gifts (mentally couldnt get past the price tag and only give that) - all were loved.

The leather make up wrap.

MistAndAWeepingRain · 29/12/2014 10:18

The soft Anna and Elsa dolls from Ali Express. I think I paid £10 for the pair of them. My girls love them. Thanks again to whoever tracked them down!

froomeonthebroom · 29/12/2014 10:27

What's the star thing? I NEED to know!!!! please and thank you etc.

WUME · 29/12/2014 10:57

Oh yes - Aliexpress a MASSIVE success. I got big plush Frozen dolls, big plush Olaf and a massive bunch of frozen hair clips for pennies.

Thanks to scaredy for that

clr2014 · 29/12/2014 11:02

The snapfish photo boards. Gorgeous and only £1.99. Wish I'd bought loads more...

clr2014 · 29/12/2014 11:03

Oh yes, Ali express! Frozen dolls and football kits! Fabulous bargains!

clr2014 · 29/12/2014 11:05

I gave dh the tassimo for his birthday and it has been a huge hit. We all love it. Kids can make their own hot chic...

softlysoftly · 29/12/2014 11:06

Aliexpress frozen dolls here too and the Google cardboard caused much hilarity at a party give hit for about £2.50!

3bunnies · 29/12/2014 11:23

The mini amazon microscope was a hit here too. Other hits have been a pom pom maker, toothless toy, mp3 player from lightning deals and blankets from debenhams- half price in sale and bought with the £30 voucher for £15, so £15 for 3 instead of £60. The double nectar point toy wheat warmers have also gone down well here.
