Monty and Mabel soft toys?

Ds asked weeks ago for a monty teddy of santa and I've checked the website everyday for stock since they were first out, John lewis told me they would be stock in all stores from today so this morning I've rushed round to get to my local JL for 8am and no Montys they arrived on Friday and sold out.
I went to another JL and no stock again and no one will tell me where there is any stock, has anyone seen them in stock anywhere? I'm from Cheshire area, its very unlikely I will be able to get one now but thought it was worth a try.

How old is your DS? What about another penguin toy, would he notice/care?

There's some on ebay. They're not all ridiculously priced.

Not much help but peter jones on sloane street had lots yesterday - don't know if they could post them?

He's 6 so I'm sure he would notice but I have tried to do the WWF one before and it won't let me i think those soft toys have gone too

I rang Peter Jones and they have 50+ there and Oxford street has 900+ but they won't post them, its so frustrating

Oxford Street had hundreds last night on almost every floor. I am sure they couldn't of all sold out....

I caved and bought one from ebay today . Special delivery for tomorrow. Expensive at 35 quid but not too bad

I rang Peter Jones and he checked stock at there store and said stock at Oxford street was 900+ this was at about 4.30pm, I do think it's rather mean they won't post one I've had items delivered from Peter Jones before that weren't in stock anywhere else, obviously the London branch had a lot more stock delivered than any other store.

Oxford Street John Lewis had none, I called to check and my sister in law popped by tonight and she was in there at 6...
