Like all teenagers they're a nightmare to buy for! And I've got this afternoon and this weekend left to do anything about it...

Any ideas of genius please?

Mine wants moneySmile

What's the budget?

R4roger · 18/12/2014 09:25

bubble bath
nice shampoo
nice hair products generally
knickers/socks from top shop.

FannyFanakapan · 18/12/2014 09:28

cheapy pressies for a relative or main pressie for your own child?

gift card for local cinema
Book
ridiculously overpriced jacket from Hollister
jewelry - necklace, bracelet
Smellies from Lush
Make up and nail varnish

AT the top end of the scale - a new phone, chromebook or laptop or a tablet.
From experience, this will get more use than anything else you could possibly buy.

Pyjamas, interesting sweets (maybe American or Japanese ones.)

You haven't mentioned if they have any hobbies but books, CDs of a particular band if they're into them, a spotify membership, computer games, nice bedroom things like storage boxes or jars etc, accessories like a new watch or a bangle, drawing equipment, vouchers for a restaurant...

Main presents AND stocking fillers for own twins. And we're going to have to pick up gifts on behalf of both grannies who are both unwell and feeling too frail to brave the shops. They have asked us to get 'something to unwrap' for them but will be giving cash as main present.

Thanks - several runners of ideas there so far. They've both got laptops, phones etc already, which they seem to be surgically attached to.

Dsd is 15, I have got her,

A hottie ( thing that goes in the microwave/wheat bag type thing )
Cath kidston pencil case, pencils, pencil sharpener and tissues.
Cath Kidston mug
2 make up sets ( one for nails, one for eyes )
Art supplies ( she's doing GCSE art )
Cake in a mug book

And she thinks she's getting some cash but we have a huge surprise for her as we bought her a chrome book ( we told her we couldn't afford one but we found a bargain last week ) Grin
