sending parcels from UK to Ireland

Has anyone used anyone other than Royal Mail? If so who and how?

Relatives use DHL from there to me but I don't know where to enquire locally?!

Have a look at parcel2go, I sent a 3kilo parcel to Southern Ireland last week using UPS via parcel2go.
