Micro scooter people do a good one for teens. Can't remember the model name but is in the end bit of their catalogue.

Just a note if caution. I bought my DS a scooter to scoot to secondary school and he stopped using it quite swiftly as it was deemed 'gay' by older boys at school. This gives me rage on many levels but was also a waste of money!

Hmmm. Around here lots of boys and girls in secondary school ride scooters. Maybe not to and from school, but in their spare time.
