Black school rucksacks for Y8 boys?

GS has a Gola messenger bag but says it's really uncomfortable to lug books around in and wants a backpack. I thought I'd get him one for Christmas, but wondered what brand is teen-acceptable!!?

Can anyone help me out?

Approximately 90% of boys at teen DSs school have Superdry backpacks.

Here it is Ratchet or Superdry or Animal - literally NOTHING else will do...

DD however has BlueBanana dead panda backpack because she is "alternative" and says the sugar skull one is "cool" too. If he is in any way "alternative"/goth/emo etc...

Superdry ones here too. Expensive but have lasted the longest so far.
