Help me identify this children's book of short Christmas stories please?

My DS used to read me and my DBro a book every Christmas and I would love to find a copy of it for my DS.

Our book has been lost and I can't remember the name of it.

The story I remember was called something like "One more mince pie" and was about a fairy on top of a Christmas tree whose magic spread Christmas spirit and made Christmas day happy. The fairy was found sobbing by the boy in the story because she wanted to try some of the lovely food herself instead of having to watch everyone else eating it. She ends up getting totally stuffed on mince pies and the boy has to save Christmas using her magic wand.

It was a brilliant story. Can anyone help?
