Tweenage boys are hard to but for.
Please give me some ideas please. He hadn't got a main present as he has an Xbox and a ps vita the last 2 Christmases and he bought himself a new DS earlier this year. He's got a few games for these for Xmas.
Got loads for go sister as girls seem to be easy to buy for.
Thank you Xmas Smile

My DS 12 has an American sweets hamper that I made myself filled with jolly ranchers, twinkles and other American sweets that I picked up in b&m, home bargains and Amazon.

They are an hard age to buy for!

If he likes Minecraft then the there is a new book just come out this week called Blokopedia. It's an official minecraft book and according to DS (who has got it today) it has all the information he will ever need to do minecraft. Apparently it has every single minecraft brick/piece in the book.

TheDetective · 05/12/2014 19:02

I have one of these awkward things too!

So far I have on the list (or bought by myself or grandparents!):

Turtle Beach headphones for his xbox/pc (£35)

Xbox live

Bench gift set (contains a pair of boxers - he'll love this!) from Boots (£10 though on 3 for 2)

Sam Smith's Album

X box games (leaving those to DH to purchase suitable ones... Confused )

Box of sweets and different chocolates he likes.

Superdry Hoodie

Converse

His main present is a sofa bed from Ikea for his bedroom - he knows about this and is excited oddly!.

I've also got him a few bits of clothes, but not expensive ones - just trendy bits I know he will like.

Trying to find him a cool belt too.

His birthday is in March, so I have to go through all this again soon! Arghhhhhh!

Liking the other ideas on here too - never heard of Blockopedia, but he plays minecraft, so I think I'll get him that too! Thank you!

ihearttc · 05/12/2014 19:07

DS1 is nearly 10 so obviously a bit younger but we've got him:-

Kindle
Turtle Beach head set thing
Forza Horizon 2
Steering wheel for xbox
Blockopedia which he will love as obsessed with Minecraft
A huge Enderdragon from Minecraft
zip headphones
Mini speakers
Now 89 (which I realise probably won't be cool for a 12 year old!)
Man U dressing gown
New Pj's
Slipper Boots
Mini Diamond Steve (Minecraft)
2 books in the next series of books that he is reading

He wants a Superdry hoody and bag so will get them if anyone gives him some money

Kim82 · 05/12/2014 19:15

Trying to think of things I have bought Ds the last few years (he's 13 now). Headphones for his computer, rubix cube, bop it, pack of playing cards and a book of card games, massive comfy dressing gown, trainers, clothes, books, board games, skateboard, chocolates, watch, alarm clock, poster for his bedroom.

SantasFavouriteHo · 05/12/2014 19:19

The Hut and ASOS outlet/sale section do some really nice teen stuff at decent prices, just bought my teenage brother a bench hoody for £15

Ds1 (13) getting a Nintendo Wi U and some Mario games and a waste paper bn.

DS2 (11) getting a PSP vita, a new gaming chair and a waste paper bin.

I suppose I should get them some odds and ends as well, but it is all quite expensive. Normally they are happier when they know exactly they are getting!
