Whats at the top of your 9/10yr old dds wish list this year?

Tory79 · 05/12/2014 15:55

I did have another thread on this but I cant find it.

I'm looking for another present for dsd, I already have

Disney infinity superheroes starter pack
Badge it badge maker
David Walliams box set
Lego friends stationery set
Paper jamz microphone

I had been thinking roller skates but apparently she's not keen. I was also considering a watch?

Also, is there anything in the list I've bought that's actually not a good present for a 9 year old?! She's the only one I know and dh is a bit useless with these things!

My dd is 10 and loves David Walliams.
Top of her list this year is a 3ds XL and a furby boom.

She's also asked for robo fish and a diary.

RJnomore · 05/12/2014 16:47

Adagio dazzle equestria girls doll.

I have had to order it from Australia.

Fortunately it arrived today!

marne2 · 05/12/2014 16:51

Dd1 ( almost 11 )
Hudl
Video camera ( cheap one )
Pokemon ds game

Dd2 (almost 9 )
Lego friends mall
Sylvanian school
Moshi beanstalk

9Bluedolphins · 05/12/2014 16:51

So many presents!
At that age my DD likes - torches, catapults, archery set. Especially torches! Also scooter, skateboard. She had some of these for her 9th birthday. Also keen on watches and asked for dressing gown and dungarees and a onesie.
For DVDs I'm getting her the New Adventures of Superman.

Every year a relative gets her a comic subscription - The Phoenix. So she gets that weekly.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 05/12/2014 16:51

My DD age 10 doesn't want much this year, she had a hudl for her birthday and can't think of anything major that she wants. She still likes Sylvanian families so will get a few bits of that, plus things like onesies, books etc. Her one request was to sponsor an elephant so Grandma has paid for that for her. She is not really into girly stuff at all.

shitatusernames · 05/12/2014 16:54

yanniwoo · 05/12/2014 22:16

DD (10)

"a pretty dress"
a green hoody
"good books" (taking this to mean YA novels)
a monster high doll
a sketch book
Elvis CD (her current obsession after watching Lilo and Stitch with her cousins)
A bookcase (Just moved house and she wants her new room to be "more grown up")

wigglesrock · 05/12/2014 22:20

Dd1 is getting
A phone and associated cover, card etc
Lego friends caravan set
Some art stuff
A tote bag thing
An alarm clock
Geek girl books
Rubik's cube

In her stocking - pens, pencils, earrings, socks, diary

Redcoats · 06/12/2014 12:19

I got DS a foot long Jaffa cake box last year and that was first in his as list this year. Currently £3 in tesco (and they sent me two 75p off codes with Clubcard vouchers so I got one for his bro as well).

I wish the rest of his list was so cheap!

alseb · 06/12/2014 21:51

Doh Vinci, make your case ( craft set to make mobile phone covers) and pictionary for Dd nearly 9.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 06/12/2014 21:59

She wants a nail art kit and the latest Ruby Redfort book. Pretty amazed how much some people on here are getting their dds- how do you find room for everything?!

RJnomore · 07/12/2014 10:02

Wondering if dd2s full list might be of use?

We always do "if Santa can only fit one thing on the sleigh what would it be" as I tend to use her list more as suggestions (example - this year she's asked for every single variant of equestria girls doll known to mankind, not happening).

I'll do my best to remember but she has:

Take that tickets
Disney infinity 2.0 starter pack and the mickey figure
The new my little pony castle
Mlp helicopter
Mlp bakery (see a theme here?)
Anything else mlp I could find...:-s
Adagio dazzle and a few other mlp dolls
Three or four monster high dolls
One of the ever after high dolls
Jumping clay (it's very light air drying clay, she loves it)
A few boden outfits
A doh Vinci set (the jewellery box one)
Several craft kits (can't remember what but she likes making things)
Housecoat, slippers, few pairs of pjs

She is quite a young ten but I like it that way.

DoIknowitschristmas · 07/12/2014 10:11

My dd doesn't like dolls but loves anything crafty and make your own....anything.

She has asked for boots, iPod, make-up, money.

DoIknowitschristmas · 07/12/2014 10:13

And you can't go wrong with a onesie, funky socks, sweets (they will like the sweets more than anything you paid hundreds for.)

She has asked for a phone and some of her friends aged 10-11 are having one but I have decided against.

Tory79 · 07/12/2014 10:27

Dsd doesn't seem to be in to any of the doll type stuff that gets mentioned on here, unfortunately!

She does love onesies and we did see a minions one in toys r us when shopping a while ago that she got very excited so I might pick that up.

It's really hard because we don't know the ins and outs of her life or exactly what she's already got (and I don't want to be running to her mum every 5m asking!) every time I've tried to ask her about what she wants she just says she doesn't really know! The only concrete thing I've gleaned is that she's no longer in to moshi monsters Smile

The other thing I thought of was X factor live tickets for next year - not cheap but I might be able to pass it off as a joint present for her and Dh as he'd be the one taking her! Not sure if he'd be fully appreciative of that though Grin

CariadsDarling · 07/12/2014 10:29

For my granddaughter its Gopro thing that can be used as an underwater camera as well as being attached to her riding hat - not at the same time though :)

CariadsDarling · 07/12/2014 10:37

She also had the usual things like new riding clothes, an applejack my little pony, loom bands, a new handbag, a lego horse/stable/farm yard set thing, vouchers, craft things, books, a couple of board games, and the usual pi's and bath smellies.

9Bluedolphins · 07/12/2014 11:52

"the usual things like new riding clothes" - LOL
