Hi

I am looking to buy three or four recent books for my sister who is an avid reader and am looking for suggestions.

I'm looking for books that have come out in the last two years. She tends to like books with a mystery or crime thrillers, but also likes them with a romance element, but tends to not enjoy books that are solely romance. She is not into books that are set in the past.

Can anybody help?

Peter May's crime thrillers are brilliant. Not always a romance but very atmospheric.

Has she read any Janet Evanovich? Humorous mystery with romance...

Not as recent as two years ago but has she read the Hunger Games trilogy?

Id also recommend Jodi Picoult:- especially Plain Truth, The Pact, and Perfect Match, all of which have a crime theme.

Jack Reacher series by Lee Child? I recently discovered these & are brilliant. Plus there are loads in the series so if she likes the first one there are plenty more to get as gifts.
