What sits atop your Christmas tree?

Because my star is rubbish and I've finished Christmas shopping (thanks bargain thread-ers!) so I'm now focusing on wasting money getting some lovely decorations.

My tree has a beautiful, sparkly, gold star.

The DDs' tree has a dog chewed fairy on the top! We haven't had a dog for years - they love the fairy and the fact that it's do chewed gives it character.
