Stocking fillers for 12 year old boys.

My ds is 12 and decided he no longer wants toys for Christmas as he wants to be more grown up (sob)
I'm struggiling to find cheap bits for his stocking. I have socks,chocolate and a wallet. Any ideas? I used to fill it with Star Wars/ Dr Who bits and bobs. Thanks.

Some body sprays and shower gels, a USB stick (i got my husband an iron man one from amazon), gloves, ear phones.

I've got some stationary bits from (oh god, I've not woken up properly and can't remember the name of the shop!), a book, a flannel, Nanoblocks, shower gel, Lush Fun bar, chocolate coins, a sound machine.

DS is into batman and spies so I have got him a batman USB stick, batman window stickers, a tiny batman lamp, a little book on survival skills, a credit card sized tool like a flat penknife, a tiny microscope lens, compass with a thermometer on, a D-day cricket, then I picked up some Halloween glow stick glasses after Halloween for 10p so going to pop those in for a 'joke', chocolate coins, toothbrush

Don't be fooled by what they say! I have 3 teens and they will be getting some stupid type toys in theirs along with 'grown-up' stuff!

I also ordered the mini microscope, they took ages to deliver (China!) but they're great.
Joke books and the Beano annual - I'm not ready to give up on that just yet! I also bought 'retro' annuals in Sainsburys for £2 each, Whizzer and Chips and boys 'Battle' annuals.
'Crap' Trumps cards - rubbish cars.
Amazingly they do ask for Xmas boxers and socks and we have a long running joke with DS1 about sprouts so he has some raw sprouts wrapped up and put in his stocking

My 12yo DS would look at me like if I gave him shower gel, then his 8yo brother would use it, so as a result of this thread I'll get them both one (mainly for the look on DS1's face).

Love the mug & individual hot chocolate sachets idea, am also going to use that, both of them love hot chocolate. Have done the chocolate on a stick to melt into hot milk before.

Did "space food" one year, dehydrated ice cream, gross but only a couple of quid and good for novelty.

Annual - got the Nerf one for 12yo, but tbh it looks crap. Beans or similar probably better, will look in Poundland later in month.

Usually get some books, but he had a kindle for his birthday in Sep.
