For 4yo. Preferably (but not necessarily) Christmassy, and a lovely object in itself before it's even been coloured in - ie a really skilled illustrator. If it's got stickers too, all the better.

TIA Smile

The Usborne doodling & drawing books are great. They also do a Christmas wipe clean cards doodling pack.

These are lovely:

Think they do different ones too

Not Christmassy but DD had some from this range and they're gorgeous

Birds to Colour (Nature Colouring Books) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1409544761/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_aY5Fub1VY7F6N

I second the Depesche brand. Not sure if they have Chrissmassy ones though. But they are beautiful and perfect for 4 years+.

I got some from ELC when there was 20% off everything - they have a nice selection and are cheaper than Amazon.

IRL I know you can buy them in Fenwick's toy department and some large garden centres.

Lagoonablue · 04/12/2014 13:38

You can get the Very Hungry Caterpillar as a colouring book.

We have this one. It's beautiful. Or the anti colouring colouring book.

On Amazon there's an offer, 4 for £10 on crafty books.
linky
I recommend the usborne ones, they're fantastic, lovely pictures to colour and a honestly such a bargain at £2.50 each.
I've bought £20's worth already Blush

fuzzpig · 04/12/2014 19:23

Thanks so much for that choc - I'd missed that deal! DD actually mentioned that Santa always brings activity books and I hadn't been planning to get any this year, so now at that price I think I will :o tradition can be upheld!

chocolatereindeer · 05/12/2014 11:05

Happy to have helped :)

MirandaWest · 05/12/2014 11:07

Have saved the link for amazon - thank you so much Xmas Smile

zipetwhippet · 05/12/2014 11:14

My dd (a few years ago) had the flower fairies one it had the Christmas tree fairy and holly fairy in it plus lots of others.
They've still got some-I've just checked

zipetwhippet · 05/12/2014 11:15

*amazon have still got some

KatherinaMinola · 05/12/2014 22:44

Thanks so much for these GREAT suggestions.

chocolate, Thanks Thanks for that link - a couple of activity books I was looking at are on it - and they're £5.99 each bought singly! Such good value - I will be spending at least one set of £10!

The Birds to Colour book would particularly appeal to DD - it's a little old for her I think, but she would love it (loves nature).

I do love that Usborne Christmas doodling book too. Hmm... Grin

Thanks everyone.

Buster activity are the best I have seen....I got this one ^ and a princess onef for dd but there are loads on amazoh.

KatherinaMinola · 05/12/2014 23:40

Thanks Beyond. That last fairytale one is lovely - too old for DD (in terms of colouring skills) but I think I am going to get it for a slightly older little friend - it's included in the 4 for £10 offer.

As is the Hungry Caterpillar colouring book - might get that too!

Really chuffed because there were three books I was specifically after listed in the offer chocolate linked to - I've ordered them all now.

Here's something Christmassy for you to colour in with your daughter
www.johannabasford.com/blog-article/392
Joanna Basford creates beautiful colouring in books for adults. The link above is to a freebie Christmas design.

Mandala books are also good.
