I've got so much on my plate at the moment that my head has gone totally blank. I need two up to £20 presents for my 7yr old god daughter and party bag ideas for a large group (15!!) of 8 yr old girls.

Please help!

eBay is good for party bags I did a party for my 7 year old DF and purchased individual glitter tattoos they each came in an organza bag with instructions, they were £1 each party bags are the bane of my life, for presents my daughter loves the Hama beads, try hobby craft.

You could put some bags of loom bands in the party bags

Party bags

Glow sticks
Hair clips
Books (buy box set from Book People and split it)
Loom bands
Pretty lipsalves
Sparkly socks
Beads
Felt pens

ebay and Amazon for the party bags. If you have time to wait for shipment from China, check out the Christmas bargain threads for some fantastic ideas on notebooks, pens, purses, bracelets and the like - my DD is going to have the most amazing stocking thanks to those threads.

Presents - If you are confident in her size, clothes. Otherwise, books (lots of recommendations on various threads) or small craft kits/hair stuff whatever, combined with vouchers. My DD just turned 8 and she had the best time going into town with me with her gift cards in her purse and shopping - she got Argos and Debenhams ones, but you could tailor that to what shops are available (how about Primark, or Accesorize, or Claires?) - the pleasure of shopping with her very own money and choosing for herself was huge.

It's the bargain threads on Christmas. Last one was bargain thread - Black Friday! Can't remember what the new one is. First entry on each one has long list with links.
