Does anyone know how to go about donating presents to local children / families?

It's probably been done to death sorry!

A friend of mine said she got the details of a local family (ages and m/f) and they put together a box of presents for them and id love to do that... Does anyone else do this? I don't know the friend anymore!

You could ring a Sure Start Centre they might be able to point you in the right direction.

The Salvation army has a christnas present appeal. Also local womens refuges collect gifts as well so give them a call.

I've just arranged a collection of vouchers for Barnardo's.

Call your local council? Ours has teamed up with the food bank and is requesting gifts for specific age range/boy/girl to be distributed to targeted families.
