Our dd1 23 months & dd2 6 months don't watch any tv but we would like to get a couple of age appropriate dvds to watch over the holidays.. Can be anything eg Peppa's Christmas, Minnie Mouse, a disney film etc just age appropriate & Christmassy. We are starting a Christmas Eve bag tradition with new pjs, slippers, chocolate, christmas stuffed animals, a book & dvd just the dvd we are stumped with!!! Thanks for help in advance X

A Muppets Christmas Carol? Not cartoony, but funny, fuzzy, charming... etc! I have great memories of watching it as a small person.

Depends if you want DD2 to 'watch' it or tune it out Grin!

If they both like Peppa than the various Peppa Christmas DVDs are hard to beat for 1-2yos, and still much-watched (often in July...) now at 3yo here.

If it's really for DD1 then Gruffalo – and Gruffalo's Child particularly – are beautiful and wintery.

Thanks for the suggestions, the Gruffalo & Gruffalo's child is a great suggestion as Stick Man is the book we have to put in her Xmas Eve bag & the Gruffalo's Child carries Stick Man through the woods so will definitly be getting that. May get a Peppa Dvd to stick in DD2's bag X

My DCs really love the little einsteins, they have some wintery themed DVDs. Definitely agree with the Gruffalo too though!

My 17 month old loves Sofia The First and Curious George. They really hold her attention and they both have christmas DVDs available.
