Best place/price for Maxi Micro Scooter

DD (5) would like a new scooter for Christmas, but has specified that she'd prefer a bigger version of her mini micro, than a two-wheeled scooter. Is there any way to get a discount on the standard price? Or any good quality alternative to the Micro Scooter brand? I think when I got DD1's bigger scooter (a Micro Sprite) we didn't find any way to get it cheaper than RRP. But £100 is really more than I was planning on spending.

If you aren't fussed about colour, there were some refurbished ones on EBay for 80 odd, but was nearer 100 once delivery from Essex was included.
Otherwise no - I bit the bullet and paid £109 from John Lewis so I get 2% cash back. Microscooters.co.UK will include some accessories but aren't actually cheaper.

I've just shot myself in the foot by looking at colours and falling for the purple one. From a quick look round buying from JoJo Maman Bebe with a discount code seems to be the cheapest option I've found. But maybe I'll just have to bite the bullet, unless anyone has any other suggestions??

Bad news OP Jojo discount codes exclude microscooters. I'm watching this thread with interest though as I'm hoping for a few quid off too.

I'm pretty sure I managed to use a discount code at JoJo Maman to buy DS's Maxi Micro last Jan for his birthday. It was a sale on a very specific colour, got it for under £90.

Sadly he's had a number of comments from kids at school about still using a "baby" scooter. I've seen a lot more of the maxi micro ones around recently so I'm hoping that will stop.

I didn't find any discount codes, I'm afraid. Ended up paying full whack BUT they are excellent quality, should last, and if any parts break you can replace them easily without buying a whole new scooter.

Friends have tried other brands and mostly not had good experiences, so I bit the bullet and went for the Maxi itself. No regrets as yet.

Mmm, the iScoot might be worth considering, thanks. There are quite a lot of maxi micro's at the school, so I don't think she'll have a problem with that. I was surprised though, because her big sister has the Sprite which looks more "grown up" so I thought she might go for that instead.

I got one from www.ozflip.com . Priced in Euros - works out at about £78 plus shipping (unless you need two, in which case shipping is free). They have an extra 10% off on at the moment too.
