My DH got me this last year as part of my Christmas and I love it. It's a bit pricey but I have had other waffle makers in the past and they are not a patch on this one www.lakeland.co.uk/15923/Cuisinart-Waffle-Maker

I got our waffle maker from Tchibo a good few years ago. It is fabulous.

Waffle makers make waffles and waffles are good.

Think about what sort of waffle you want. Some squash the mixture into the shapes and makes thinner, crisper waffles (can also get some that make wafer type waffles but I don't think that is what you are after). Others allow the mixture to rise into the shape so they make the uber thick waffles like you get at markets.
