Small gifts for advent calender?

I'm attempting a homemade job this year and each day will involve filling a loo roll with a gift :) so they've got to be small, light and suitable a 3.5 year old and an 11 month old. So far I've come up with...chocolate coins! Any other suggestions?

I've done a homemade wreath style calendar this year which has little bags on it. I put chocolate coins, a little paper nativity quote (rolled up like you would get in a cracker), and a small tree decoration.

I had a certain amount of small decorations anyway and the shops seem to be full of those miniature German ones.

Hairbands, mini stamps or crayons, perhaps the odd 'voucher' for an activity when you have time. I've also got some bubbles which I'll hide with a simple clue (DD is nearly 2).
