Apologies for the blatant promotion - but it's for charity and I'm sure it would be a great family Christmas treat.

Warner Bros have donated tickets to the premiere to our charity and we're selling them on ebay. The ticket is for a family of four.

I can't do Sunday but here is a big BUMP for you :)

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 12:40

Thanks! All bumps appreciated. I'm surprised there have been no bids yet, although I have heard that often on ebay all the bids come at the last minute. I'm hoping that's the case.

We quite often don't bid until the last minute & then it all goes crazy.

I'm glad WB donated them to an animal charity for a change.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2014 13:34

You've got the Hobbit too! Surely someone want to see that.

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 13:41

Oh yes Fluffy - I'd forgotten about that! Two tickets to the premiere of the Hobbit on Monday 7 December:

And I've just read that Benedict Cumberbatch will the there (the Hobbit premiere, not the Get Santa one) and do believe that some mumsnetters quite like him :)

I bet the Benedict Cumberbatch fans hang out in the "sleb Twaddle" section or something like that.

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 14:16

Thanks again Fluffy. I've just seen there is a dedicated thread for him in Sleb Twaddle. I've posted in that.

Corygal · 24/11/2014 15:36

This sounds utterly brilliant.

cozietoesie · 24/11/2014 16:46

They both have bids now. - so some lucky kids will be going.

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 17:34

:) Well I'm not so sure it will be children going to letch after Benedict Cumberbatch the Hobbit premiere ...

cozietoesie · 24/11/2014 18:52

That's a fair point.

I can't believe Martin Freeman is going to be at the Hobbit one as well. Slaver.

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 21:21

I can't see the appeal of any of them! But each to their own:) Now if Robert Sheehan were in it that would be a different matter Blush

Or that bloke off peaky blinders. Hubba-Hubba

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 21:27

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 21:42

Well I've just looked at the character list and I can't see anyone remotely fanciable. Which one is it?

Shock

Cillian Murphy.

thecatneuterer · 24/11/2014 21:48

Nope. I think you've all got really weird taste! Mind you I can talk - I've also got a bit of a thing about Richard from Pointless ....

cozietoesie · 24/11/2014 22:43

I don't know who half of these people are. Blush

cozietoesie · 25/11/2014 10:16

Ah - four bids now.

thecatneuterer · 25/11/2014 11:05

Yes, and just four hours to go. I'd love to know if the eventual successful bidder is a mumsnetter.

I see the Cumberbatch fans are starting to rouse themselves for the second event.
