Trying to even up the pile, but is this a mad idea??

I've finished shopping! Well, I have for the two noisy boys....just some boxers and pencils for their stockings. I've even wrapped it all too, which is unheard of....go me!

But.....the piles are different sizes. And there's a difference in the amount of presents too...(I'm not bothered about any difference in cost....they don't notice stuff like that yet!) DS1 has 7 presents, DS2 had 8. As we try to make a point of opening them one at a time, there's a good chance they'll notice.

Soooo....I'm getting the twitch! I'm thinking of getting DS1 another gift to 'even it up'.....but I want something in a biggish box. And I've had an idea which could either be mad or ace! He's got some special needs, and this used to really show itself in his eating. He was very much a creature of habit, and wouldn't try much new stuff. But since going to high school he's getting on great with that side of things Smile and is trying new stuff all the time. His latest love is toasted sandwiches....so I'm thinking if getting him a toastie maker! I think he'd love it....and he has got a really great sense of humour.....but is this a really weird gift? What do you reckon?

Over to you, Christmas Topic jury Smile

My nephew (11yo) actually has a toast-maker on his wishlist!

I think that's a fab idea.

Mmmmmm. Bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce toasties...
