My friend drinks wine from pint pots Confused because she hasn't bothered to replace the ones that got broken...any suggestions for not too pricey, but still nice, ones that aren't value range?

TK Maxx

I love my Ikea wine glasses!

MegBusset · 23/11/2014 18:33

Ikea or Tiger

MegBusset · 23/11/2014 18:34

Although I quite like the idea of a pint of wine Grin

ShatnersBassoon · 23/11/2014 18:35

Sainsburys usually have nice glasses.

LineRunner · 23/11/2014 18:37

I have a lovely wine glass from Wilkinsons (Will I). £1.50. Bargain. The fact I haven't smashed it in nearly a year means it is also pretty robust.

Mummify · 23/11/2014 18:47

Homesense, The Range or Dunelm x

fifi39 · 23/11/2014 18:53

IKEA. Still have mine after 12 years!

TK Max I have recently bought some Dartington crystal wine glasses.
They are plain very fine, and are dish washer proof!
About £12 for 4

storminabuttercup · 23/11/2014 19:10

Next have those stumpy Jamie Oliver ones for 13 quid for 4. They are pretty robust too.

Supermarkets

Traid Craft make the most beautiful, weighty, get-lots-of-compliments recycled glasswear. £12 for 4 wine glasses, they make a great present.

lucysmam · 23/11/2014 20:34

oooh, I like the look of those.

She tends to put them on the floor then either the dogs or her ds (usually rolling around with the dogs) knock them over. The stem fell off the last remaining one a few weeks ago while she was drinking from it Confused

Thinking about it...maybe I ought to buy plastic ones Grin

It might sound strange, but Morrisons do some lovely ones....I think they're £1.50 each or four for £4. They're really nice and not a tragedy if they get kicked over Smile

lucysmam · 23/11/2014 22:00

Four for £4 may be a winner. Not that I'm fussy but drinking wine from pint pots was a new experience Grin & a little bit wrong.

I'll start with the easier to get to places, and work my way through them.

Saw stumpy Jamie Oliver one in Homesense. Sure they were under a tenner

lucysmam · 23/11/2014 22:22

I don't think we have a Home Sense, will google and see.

It the homeware part of TkMaxx so there may be some some in TkMaxx. Home Sense is amazing - if you get a chance to have a look round. I have one within walking distance so I just have a wander down for something to do on a Sunday afternoon!
