Thanks for the code Flowers

PamelaEwing · 22/11/2014 18:42

Also got no paperwork in a recent amazon order but was still able to get a refund no problem by filling in a few details, printing off the refund slip and posting it back off to them (via a locker, which I love)!!!

Iggi999 · 22/11/2014 18:42

Bugger. Big Hama beads box I bought on Amazon deals today is just that - a box of beads, no board to use them on. So, more money to be shelled out!

Iggi999 · 22/11/2014 18:51

SPEND10 didn't work for me at play.com - was it for particular types of things?

babycakes76 · 22/11/2014 18:54

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Peacocks have 30% off Christmas buys and 99p delivery.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 22/11/2014 19:01

Forget SPEND10... it is on their website but when you click terms and conditions it expired at midnight last night!!!! Xmas Angry

dandelionsRflowers · 22/11/2014 19:02

Phew, I bought the Hama beads that are on Amazon Lightening deals atm for £7.50 earlier this week, they're £7.70 just now.

ChocolateWombat · 22/11/2014 19:02

I tried the £5 off £10 at play.com, which takes you to Rakuten.
Didn't work.
When I looked more closely it expired at midnight last night. Shame, as it would have made a £10 playmobil set half price with free delivery.
If anyone has a way to make it work or a similar code, would be grateful. Thanks.

GoofyIsACow · 22/11/2014 19:12

On lightening deals there is a groclock which is due to start at 2.05pm, the item next to it started at 7.05pm and the gro clock is the only thing left in the list, do you think it is a typo?

I would like one of those for my smallest ones but I don't really want to pay full price!

Reastie · 22/11/2014 19:21

I know jingle it's scary how close Christmas is now. Need to try and get wrapping done tomorrow if I can, then I'll feel like I'm on top of things.

Has anyone else offered to donate a gift for mn secret santa? I haven't heard anything else since I applied to donate and keep meaning to chase it up and not getting around to it.

LucytheValiant if you still need to know - yes glamour still has the 20% H & M card with it on sale...I bought my 2nd one today!

ExtraVolume · 22/11/2014 19:23

Goofy, the ones on that row are the extra special Black Friday preview deals or some such balls, the normal lightning deals are the row below. So I think 2pm is correct. There is an iphone at 12pm before it. I think they keep adding stuff so that you keep checking (and twitching).

margaritasbythesea · 22/11/2014 19:29

I'm a bit worried about this box of amazon stuff. How does the scam work? I assumed it was just a mix-up of some sort at their end.

I'll go on livechat and see if I can work it out.

There's about £200 worth of stuff! And I definitely don't want t be charged for a box set of Top Gear!

sproingle · 22/11/2014 19:36

I got free delivery on CT but when I tried to order just a pair of socks at £7.95 without the little cufflink things I got as well it wanted to charge.
Thanks for the code.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 22/11/2014 19:39

Has anyone got a working free delivery code for the book people? Thanks.

ChocolateWombat · 22/11/2014 19:39

CT free delivery is only working if the order is above £10.

biggerfeetsmallerboobs · 22/11/2014 19:40

zipzap thankyou Flowers for the mandm code, I've just bought myself 2 pairs of Converse for £55 and saved £70. Even got free delivery with code FD14

WildFlowersAttractBees · 22/11/2014 19:44

Biggerfeet... what, where, tell us!!!

Wrongornot · 22/11/2014 19:48

If you go into CT from the first link from a google search, free delivery works on any value :)

biggerfeetsmallerboobs · 22/11/2014 19:50

Wildflowers - zipzap posted the link on page 3 www.mandmdirect.com/01/converse/
I am awful at links so I hope that works. I shouldn't be spending on myself Blush but I got a black leather pair and some blue and white star print pumps. Perhaps I can persuade DP to buy them for me (even though we've said no presents to each other this year to save money!)

margaritasbythesea · 22/11/2014 19:58

I am live chat with Amazon. They are telling me to donate the items to a local charity. Is this part of the scam or is it legit? I have had a look for the thread on it but can't find it.

ClaimedByMe · 22/11/2014 20:03

margaritasbythesea my mums 3 shower curtains arent in your mystery package by any chance? They have gone awol!!

GlowWine · 22/11/2014 20:04

Margarita - if it's not been ordered on / charged to your account, you're probably in the clear? This is the scam:

www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-2597650/Fraudsters-striking-600-times-day-pays-smart.html

They order and deliver to you with false details (yours) and then collect from you and you get stung with the bill. But if you have been in touch with Amazon you might be okay?

Wrongornot · 22/11/2014 20:06

Just been speaking to a friend who works at Asda. They had their Black Friday deliveries today. Meant to be delivered wrapped in black wrap however one was burst - there will def be Samsung Galaxy Tablets but he doesn't know prices yet.

Not the most helpful post but just incase anyone is thinking of getting one before then hold off!
