Can anyone recommend a good Frozen gift for £10 for a 7year old please? I have been so organised this year and sorted most of my gifts, but DN has just announced that all she wants for Chrismas are Frozen toys why am I suprised?!
I don't fancy ordering from overseas this close to the big day, but I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of choice!

stripes1 · 25/11/2014 06:46

wheresthecoffee last week I was in 'The entertainer' and they had lots of Frozen stuff half price, I got a set of 4 puzzles for £5 reduced from £10. Can't remember exactly what else was in there though.

LinzerTorte · 25/11/2014 07:00

I've just had an e-mail from Amazon to say that they're refunding me for my 4-for-£10 children's colouring books order last month - has anyone else had this? No e-mail beforehand saying that the books are out of stock and no reason for the refund given.

I also had an e-mail from them a few hours earlier to say that the fruit shopping bag I ordered at around the same time has been returned as undeliverable. Surely if there'd been no one at home, it would have fitted through the letter box? I don't think I've ever had any problems with Amazon before, and now two within a few hours of each other. Confused

I hopeyoustep on a lego The Book People had the Julia Donaldson audiobooks for ten pounds. I bought a set in the summer so its worth checking their website.

Linzer, I've had lots of delivery issues with amazon, specifically on two occasions not leaving card through door. I've only discovered what to go next by logging onto my account. I've complained both times and had my prime membership extended twice. The customer service has been good. But I have been noticing issues, and I once had quite a creepy delivery man who I had absolutely no sense of personal space! Thankfully haven't seen him again....

PoopPoooDeDooo · 25/11/2014 07:22

Tassimo discs on Amazon lightening deals at 8am.

nodramamama · 25/11/2014 07:23

Lottieandthedinossaur I got DS the Buzz and Woody interactive set a few weeks back for £39.99 from argos so yes that's a good price, worth checking ebay for any brand new in box but I think around the £40 mark is best price at the moment.

PamelaEwing · 25/11/2014 07:25

80 (5 packs) Tassimo Kenco medium roast coffee pods coming up on Amazon lightening deals at 8am today Brew

PamelaEwing · 25/11/2014 07:26

Sorry just x posts with poop Blush

Elvish · 25/11/2014 07:27

DirtyDancer, I keep amazon deals open all the time too but I missed the giraffe Sad DD would have loved him but I need to keep telling myself she's got loads and I'm done!

LinzerTorte · 25/11/2014 07:29

Thanks imip, sounds like it's not isolated incidents then. Maybe I'll contact them to find out what's going on re the books. An added complication is that I'm not in the UK so am having orders delivered to my parents' address, which means I don't notice if something hasn't arrived. There's almost always someone at home, although I know they have problems with the Hermes delivery man; he won't ring the doorbell for some reason, only knocks, so they very often don't hear him.

PamelaEwing · 25/11/2014 07:30

Greeneyed yes it was from the same seller as you? Bit annoyed that sellers seem to be able to get away quite easily with misrepresentation and failure to arrive. Angry

nodramamama · 25/11/2014 07:36

Just a little idea if you have limited budget, get some virgin coconut oil from Amazon for around £8 for the big jar, then make little jam jars of body scrub as stocking filler simply by adding white sugar to a scoop of coconut oil, them putting into the smaller jars. Best exfoliating treatment ever, all over, brilliant for pre shaving.

Iggi999 · 25/11/2014 07:42

Minecraft lego The Farm down to £21 on Amazon - usually 25-30 and out of stock everywhere I looked yesterday! Good start to the day Smile
I keep taking a tub of coconut oil in and out of my basket, think I'll bite the bullet and buy it now!

Jenni2legs · 25/11/2014 08:01

found a site called hive.co.UK that sells books, and they ship from a local bookshop so you help local economy. I'd say one in three times I looked it was cheaper than amazon, (but not Amazon's second hand options) so worth checking if you have time before pressing buy Smile

Ilisten2thesoundofdrums · 25/11/2014 08:08

Not yet but I had a code from Figleaves for £10 off a £40 spend in December save1040 and also Xmas14 gives 15% off plus free delivery

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/11/2014 08:16

Asda have them 3 for £10 incl. costa lattes.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/11/2014 08:22

Homebargains are doing red felt table runners similar to M&S ones but much cheaper.

FarOverTheRainbow · 25/11/2014 08:33

Has anyone seen any nice Christmas bedding, got DD a set and now I quite want one for myself Grin

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 25/11/2014 08:38

Pam I had a good old eBay message argument with that seller about the olaf I got n they said most could do was a £1 refund they have a perm out of office message on as well I just said fine as I cannot be doing arguing with you but will be leaving honest feedback which I did had I not just had a new baby I would have argued more

AuntieMaggie · 25/11/2014 08:45

FarOverTheRainbow we've been using our primark xmas bedding since last xmas as it's so soft

FarOverTheRainbow · 25/11/2014 08:49

Thanks AuntieMaggie I haven't braved the shops yet but I might have a sitter for DD Friday morning so I'm tempted to go early to one of the bigger shopping centres and try and get my shopping finished, I just see better deals online and won't be able to resist Grin

billiejeanbob · 25/11/2014 09:10

GreenEyedMonster14 · 25/11/2014 09:19

Eastmids, what was wrong with your Olaf? Was it small? And how long did it take to come? I've been waiting for 5 weeks now.

Sorry for all the questions. Smile

SouthernOne · 25/11/2014 09:24
