Consumables? Posh chocolates, nice booze, oils & vinegars set? Nice port and Stilton? Sorry... I'm obviously staving. Off to have a bowl of cereal Grin

I haven't done much yet but could you tell me the title of the book of WW1 letters as DH would love that. Thanks!

cuppateaandtoast · 21/11/2014 10:08

Voucher for local restaurant? We have a fab afternoon tea nearby £15ish per head. I buy a gift voucher for two and that's a couple sorted. Grin

bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 21/11/2014 11:02

Sorry jumping in too on the book- I've looked in amazon and there are two!! Which one did you get?? Might be nice for dad for Christmas. Thanks Smile

TenMinutesEarly · 21/11/2014 11:02

Oh and try outlets. We have a boundary mill nearby and bought lovely tops for well under £20 each.

Dotcom gift shop has some different stuff. Vouchers for manicure. Bottle of wine & wine book. Christmas plant arrangements. Make hampers?

GirlAnachronism · 21/11/2014 18:20

yankee candle shop had 5 votives (christmas scented) for £6.99, plus a votive holders which all seemed to come under £5. Don't know if this offer is online or not though

DamselNotInHerDress · 21/11/2014 18:25

Just wanted to say I've ordered the book too, my dad was all finished but now he has an extra present! Thanks for bringing it to my attention :)

DamselNotInHerDress · 21/11/2014 18:26

And I buy for 44 people so any further ideas gratefully received Grin

GirlAnachronism · 21/11/2014 18:27

just checked it is online. Thats two sets bought, with 2 votive holders for less than £20 :)

GirlAnachronism · 21/11/2014 18:33

i got a sterling silver bangle from etsy for my mum (uk seller) with a snowflake charm for £16 so its worthwhile to have a wee hunt around on there as well. For DH i bought some geeky tshirts (pacific rim and adventure time themed) from ebay, £11ish each

Pigleychez · 21/11/2014 18:40

Cineworld do a Christmas gift box for £20

2 adult cinema passes
voucher for 2 drinks and popcorn and 2 small chocolates.

We got this for my Sis and her boyfriend last year and they have asked for the same again this year!

Hunter fleece welly socks for any rural dog-walkers.

Sazorchard31 · 21/11/2014 18:50

Try local MacArthur glen outlet...I got a ted baker wash bag for £12, L'occitane toiletries for £7-£20, earrings and a bracelet from links of London each less than £20, scarf and hat from Lakeland £20. Etsy good too...personalised cufflinks with local map images less than £20, funky cards that will double up as pictures with a cheap frame.

Or bottles of spirits are good...supermarkets have loads of offers on!

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 22/11/2014 11:27

I've bought Sherlock and Dr who posters/artwork from this etsy shop.

They do loads of different ones. It'd be great for film or tv buffs.
